Hey y'all:

I'm Hank, I'm a 32 year old guy, and I'm starting to really feel the way my size confines my activities. I was fat but active for most of my life, but working in an office and spending too much time on the couch has my endurance and ability in the garbage. I'm trying to get back on my feet, get some of this weight off, and get myself on a healthier track.

I'm looking forward to hearing from other folks about how to balance your current size (or former size) with the need to exercise in a healthy way.

(If I seem familiar to anyone, I had a LJ a few years ago that was focused on health and weight loss, and it helped me drop almost 50 pounds. Of course, since then I've slid right back up, so I'm starting over.)

See you on the sidewalks!

About your post

Hello.
I'm overweight myself, but still have to exercise. There are a lot of people that exercise even if they don't look like those models you see on television.
What I learned about exercise is that it makes you feel good. These days I'm just into the good feeling I get from it and health benefits too. Maybe it's a better idea to keep exercising for the good feelings it gives. Stick with it.
